The Alphabet, Female Name Edition: Quinn

A native of Earth 2-D, Quinn Ridgely is a 5^th year student at Hobarts School for Young Ladies & Gentlemen, which convened this year in Taos, New Mexico, Republic of Texas. She is a good student and hopes to major in Theater Arts when she attends university.

She is also the head purveyor of Unapproved Items in her House (House Bison). She gets the requested items from two 7^th year upperclassmen, then splits the profit with them. Unapproved Items, according to school rules, include: several varieties of candy & snacks, certain books and comics, certain music albums/tapes, several practical joke items, and beer. So far, Quinn has had a very profitable first semester.

Quinn is 15 years old, has medium length brown hair, brown eyes, and a small scar on her left cheek from a cat that did not want to be held. In her spare time, Quinn enjoys watching movies, hanging out with her friends, and checking out what great women’s wear that one upperclassman will wear today.

The Alphabet, Female Name Edition: Rita

Rita 304 is one of 5 Rita 300 series clones in Australia on Earth 14-S, a post-apocalypse Earth. 40 years ago, the planet was ravaged by a disease that killed off most humans. The survivors are sealed off inside several underground cities now, but send clones to the surface to monitor things and destroy, or recycle, old human habitations.

Rita 304 is a documentarian. She records the efforts of explorer clones as they go into old cities to assess how best to start dismantling them. She also documents how nature has come back, both in the cities and without.

Unlike the 100 and 200 series clones, Rita 304 has a minimum 30 year lifespan and could well live to 60. She plans on doing her job right up to the end.
