…but not a goodbye
.
Folks, I started blogging in March of 2004, over on Blogger. Eventually, I moved to Live Journal and finally, here to WordPress. I’ve been at this for just a tad over 17 years, sometimes posting every day for years, and sometimes only posting a couple of times a month. I’ve done well over 3,500 posts total, 2,319 Doclopedia entries, probably 200 entries for Dog/Cat/CritterCon, and tons of other kinds of writing.
But as I said in my last post, I’m not reaching all that many people, so I’m moving to doing a podcast.
Also, I’ve realized that between the Year Of Covid and the disruption to daily life, getting older, writing something every day (or close enough) for years, and just a general malaise, I’m burned out. I need to take a break. I need to do other stuff and rethink this blog.
So I will be going on hiatus for awhile. How long, I can’t say, except that I will be doing the CritterCon report in August. Between now and then I’ll be working on the podcast, tending my garden, maybe getting a knee replaced, and yes, writing.
When I come back, my schedule for blogging may be different, including areas locked down for paying customers. I’m not sure yet.
Thanks for visiting my blog, and I’ll see y’all in August, if not sooner.
