Synopsis: An accident at the bird seed packaging plant mixes human blood, LSD and radiation with the seed in one package. Later, a homeowner puts in in his bird feeder where it is eaten by a robin and a squirrel, both of which soon mutate to 8 foot tall humanoid monsters that crave human blood. Who can stop these two terrors as the search for blood, all the while fighting each other across Salt Lake City.
Review: What happens when a group of students at BYU come up with an idea for a horror movie and then manage to get $90,000.00 from the LDS church to make it? This screwy, family friendly, and totally blood & gore free bit of strangeness. The acting is amateurish at best, and the director, who was all of 20 years old, did not have a clue as to what director’s actually do. The monsters are cartoonish looking, but thankfully only seen for about 10 minutes of the film. This is a good thing.
