The Singularly Odd, Yet Not Wholly Unexpected, Story of Mostly Purple Patty And The Dog Revolution

…co-starring her adopted brother, Amos

Saturday (and my viewing of Iron Man) fast approaches. I am as giddy as a school girl.

Also approaching: Mother’s Day (already have card for my mom, need one for My Sweet Angel), Whole Earth Festival (aka Hippiefest) at UC Davis, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull!!!, my brother’s birthday, Doggie Dash and my mom’s 80th birthday.

I’ll be a busy bee in May and June, yessir.

On the health front, I’m doing pretty well. I seem to have lost a bit of weight (according to the digital scales at my doctor’s office), my wrist is feeling good and healing nicely, I’m walking at least a mile a day with Daisy the Travelling Basset Hound and my acid reflux is a thing of the past. Now if there was just something one could do about the aches and pains of middle age…

Unless the economy does some miraculous turnaround real soon, I don’t forsee me going to any gaming conventions between now and DunDraCon next February. That rather blows, but what can a poor boy do? I’m too old to indulge in the profitable endeavors of my youth and the damned lottery refuses to play nice with me. I’d whore myself out, but I can never decide if I should charge by the inch, the hour or the pound:)

More Blog-O-Rama later.
