On the planet Kalox 2, a world of vast deserts and shallow seas, there is a type of microscopic lifeform that live in certain areas and is often blown along in dust couds. These microbes release a powerful hallucinogenic when they come into contact with moist tissue such as that found in human lungs or mouths. Once a creature has this substance in them, they will suffer powerful hallucinations for hours. Many people become quite violent.
