The Stuff That’s Made Of Dreams: Nightmare House

.

In 1923, the evil and insane Master Wizard Arlington Markwell used his trained rats to place enchanted stones in 100 homes around Chicago. These stones absorbed the nightmares of any people within a hundred feet of them. He would leave the stones in place for a month, then move them to new homes and apartments. He did this for 13 months.

When he was finished gathering terrifying dreams, he used them to infuse his own home with nightmares. Then, to increase their potency, he went into a secret sub-basement and performed a ritual that culminated in his own death.

Now, nearly 100 years later, this large house is abandoned and onvergrown, but still claiming victims. A teenager on a dare, a homeless person seeking shelter, anyone who stays inside for more than a few minutes, they all die of fright.

The house has survived fires, flooding and even a near miss light airplane crash. It will be around for a long time.

Showing You The Ropes: The Heartstrings

.

The Heartstrings are a pair of simple ropes, each 10 feet long and made of silk. One is red, the other is silver. Their magic is that of love.

If the Heartstrings are twisted together, then wrapped around two people in love, their strength shall double. They will draw courage, determination, clear thought and much more from their partner. This will work if they are apart, but will work much stronger if they are together.

The Heartstrings cannot be purchased. They also cannot be destroyed.
