Are there really spiders “the size of Shetland Ponies” running around in Creek Valley, Texas? Several witnesses swear to it and a bunch of cattle are missing. A couple of people are unaccounted for, too.
Could this be the work of some mad scientist? Possibly. Doctor Finnegan was last seen in Amarillo.
Perhaps it’s a commie plot? Recent intel says they’ve been doing experiments with growth hormones.
Atomic testing? White Sands is not that far away.
Or maybe nature has just gone apeshit again, like it did with that huge alligator in Florida.
