The Alphabet, Name Edition: Gail
Gail Briggs is an up and coming reporter with WPOG in Mountain City, Michigan on Earth 2-T. She has a nightly viewership of around 100,000 people in a 110 mile wide area. She covers all sorts of breaking news stories as well as civic and regional events. She is very popular.
And she would sell her soul to get the hell out of Mountain City, Michigan, and the Midwest. She wants very badly to get a job in one of the larger markets on either coast. So far, this is not happening.
Gail is considering going to her boss with a story she has been researching for the last 5 years. It has to do with an old US military instillation in the boondocks of the Upper Peninsula. Supposedly abandoned, her very few sources tell her that the two acre site is surrounded bu a very new looking 15 foot high concrete wall with no way in or out. An interview with an old hunter from the general area yielded the interesting tidbit that the place was active from about 1947 to 1962.
Both of Gail’s main sources have dried up. One went to prison on drug charges and the other seems to have moved to Florida after coming into unexpected money. Gail is debating trying to locate the facility to find out more about it.

The Alphabet, Name Edition: Hokulani
On Earth 6-E, the islands of Hawaii formed later and over a much more active hot spot than they did on our Earth. As a result, there are more and larger islands. They are also closer together. Hawaii is also part of the Bear Flag Empire of California.
Hokulani lives on Maui with her parents and 4 sisters. Being the middle child, she is a rather attention seeking young lady. She’s also a fearless explorer and has a vast curiosity. When she comes of age at 18, she fully intends to move to California and attend university. She thinks she might major in botany. She also wants to learn to fly an airplane.
In her spare time, Hokulani likes to read the pulp adventure magazines like “Windy Rambeaux: Ace Pilot”, “Dr. Mystic”, and “Tales of the California Rangers”. She also enjoys playing with her dog, Mo, and collecting plants to study.
