Something Big In The Bayou
Sunday morning a week ago, three known poachers stumbled out of the swamp near Dulac, Louisiana. A deputy sheriff damn near ran them over. The three of them were beat all to hell and raving like madmen. They were all taken to the hospital in Houma, where they remain while recovering from massive contusions, broken bones and various other injuries. The three of them are also being kept heavily sedated, because otherwise the start screaming “Big!” or “Monster”, and try to get away.
It would be easy to write this off as three Cajun poachers who got drunk or cranked up and got into a fight or something, but this is not an isolated incident. In the last 90 days, 6 people have gone missing and parts of 4 people have been found in widely scattered areas by searchers. Something is going on. The good news is, it’s not alligators. The bad news is, it’s something big and strong enough to rip a grown man in half.
Take as many people with you as you need for this mission, agent. The official order is you need to document anything “strange” and try to capture any cryptid you may encounter. My unofficial suggestion is to save your own asses and if that means killing some monster, do it.
