The Alphabet, Female Name Edition: Kleeklee
Kleeklee Eeekeeneekaa is a native of Venus in the Earth 221-X universe. In that reality, Venus is a very warm water world, with 95% of the planet covered in ocean. What land there is consists of small islands.
Resembling a sort of human/dolphin cross, Kleeklee’s people are amphibious. They spend most of their time at sea, but come onto land to eat certain foods and make weapons & tools. Humans have categorized then as hunter/gatherers, but that applies mostly to when they are ashore. Their civilization in the ocean is considerably more advanced.
Kleeklee finds the very few humans living on her planet to be fascinating, but also ugly and ungraceful. They also seem to eat many things that smell terrible. She has tried to learn the human’s language, but it is very guttural and hard for her to master. Still, she keeps trying.
When Kleeklee reaches full adulthood, she hopes to become a toolmaker.

The Alphabet, Female Name Edition: Liliana
Liliana Karkova lives in St. Petersburg, Russia, on Earth 2-Y. That Earth is primarily different from ours in that women ascended to power after the 1912 Influenza Pandemic.
Born in 1952 to a mother who was a medical doctor and a father who was a chemist, Liliana is the eldest of three sisters. She is in her freshman year at the University of Russia, Vladivostok Campus. She is studying International Law.
Recently, she has been overhearing various male students discussing something called “the Hercules Club”. A bit of questioning, after plying a boy with alcohol, has let her find out that it is some sort of “male power reclamation” group. This sort of dangerous radical group pops up from time to time in various countries. Most of the time, they get rounded up and sent off for re-education, although a few times, they have had to be dealt with violently.
Liliana is not sure if she should go to the police now or try to get more information. She is leaning toward the latter, since two of her friends are privy to her knowledge and will help her.
