DUCKS!: The Phantom Duck

In modern day Myanmar, in the town of Tung-U, you can find the Phantom Duck. Resembling a ghostly version of an Indian Runner duck, this strange creature is sighted once or twice a week, running through the town. Those who have followed it from start to finish on one of it’s excursions say that in might run up to a mile before it fades away. It normally runs in a straight line, but will sometimes turn several corners while going from street to street.

The Phantom Duck seems to be unaware of living people or animals, and has been known to run right through them. It does not, however, run through buildings. Nobody knows where the duck came from or what it is up to, but it was first recorded as running down the main street in the summer of 1834. Because of it’s regular appearances and long history, the Phantom Duck has made Tung-U a mecca for parapsychologists.
