Tiny Folk Of San Francisco: Uzzy Runner
In the Noe Valley neighborhood of San Francisco, Uzzy Runner is a familiar face among the Tiny Folk. Working as both a messenger and a sort of neighborhood patrol, he can be seen most days running along everything from streets to rooftops. He’ll drop off a message here, pick one up there, and keep an eye out for trouble along the way. Everyone likes Uzzy, and sometimes children will run with him for a short distance. He enjoys that and so do the children.
Uzzy is quite tall for a Tiny Folk, standing almost 7 inches. He’s slender, with the build of a long distance runner. His hair is blue and his eyes are deep green. He is known for his big appetite and love of baked goods and ice cream. It is said that he once ate an entire human sized slice of cheese pizza. Oddly, he never seems to gain any weight.
Uzzy lives in the attic of a school, with his wife Treen, his four children, and their pet mouse, Kogo. In his spare time, he plays tossball with his kids, does home repairs, and tends to the family garden.
