Tiny Folk Of San Francisco: Rinda Sandwalker
On the beach opposite the west end of Golden Gate Park, you can often find Rinda Sandwalker walking along accompanied by her cat friend Dendo. She wanders the beach collection bits of shells, anything useful that humans may have dropped or discarded, and sometimes, pieces of kelp that can be dried and eaten later. On several trips, she has found human coins and jewelry, all of which are very useful materials for Tiny Folk.
Rinda usually goes out in the very early morning. She is never seen by humans, although they may see Dendo. Despite her height of only 5.5 inches, she is in no danger from birds or other creatures, because her cat is very large and fears nothing. Of course, the fact that she is armed with a needle sharp spear and a very sharp knife helps, too.
Rinda is unmarried, but in a long term relationship with Morrena Searcher. They live in the Dutch windmill in Golden Gate Park, along with several cats. Rinda has sandy blonde hair and orange eyes. She typically wears a shirt and trousers. She carries a sack to hold the items she finds.
