Craters Of Terror
These big craters,16 in all, are more like steep sided holes 200 feet deep and from 15 to 20 miles across. They are connected by tunnels, some as long as 3 miles. Dinosaurs live here. Lots of them.
The craters floors have ecosystems from plains and light forests, to denser forests, wetlands, rivers, and a couple of large lakes. There appear to be no humaoids or non-dinosaur species in any of the craters. Flying dinosaurs do not leave the craters.
The Road here starts and finishes as going east/west, but most of the 180 miles winds north ans south so as to go rather closely past the very low rims of 10 of the craters
