…the town was Seattle
The Long & Winding Road
Part 51
Quen
Quen is a country divided, not by war or strife, but by The Road and two very different cultures. To the northwest, you’ll find short, happy semi-nomads raising sheep, goats, and cattle. They work hard and play hard. They are friendly to strangers and will open their homes to you.
To the southeast, you’ll find the tall, thin, and quite somber farmers. They live in small town or villages and raise all sorts of crops. They work hard and they pray hard to their goddess of fertility. They are somewhat aloof to strangers.
There are no monsters, beasts, or outlaws here. The Road runs northeast/southwest for 90 miles and is still gravel and still running pretty flat.
