Chapter Fourteen: The Other Museum
After only a few minutes in the tunnels, the Grand High Curator and Seyan came to a four way intersection. The route ahead only went about seven feet before ending in rough unfinished wall of a tunnel yet to be. To the right, the tunnel took a sharp turn. To the left, the tunnel spiraled down.
“Never ever take the left turn here,” the Grand High Curator said, “unless you want to slide rapidly out into the Great Canyon.” He then walked straight ahead to the rough wall, pushed his index finger into one of the many cracks and then stepped back. A moment later, the wall slid back several feet to reveal another tunnel to the right. They went down it as the wall slid shut behind them.
