His black hair was uncombed and his hands were dirty from grease, some of which had been transferred to his face. He was grinning at her and looking a bit shy. She thought her heart would melt in her chest. She hoped she didn’t have a stupid look on her face
“Hel..hello, umm, Lahn, “ she stuttered. “I thought…I mean, they said…you had become a Seeker.” She decided to leave out the part where she had cried for a week after he had suddenly been told to grab his clothes and join a Seeker team. She felt kind of dizzy and her stomach was acting strange.
