Would you like them now or in the morning?” She was a very pleasant young woman and an excellent organizer. She was also quite good looking and never seemed to lack for friends. Not unlike Seyan in many ways, although Merinta was not any sort of athlete.
“Give them to me. I’m going to be here quite late.” He picked up a pen and opened a bottle of ink. “I’m ready to do some signing into the wee hours.”
She laughed as she put the papers on the desk. “Would you like some dinner, Master?”
He shook his head. “No thank you, Mertina. I’ll get something later. I would like a cup of mint tea, if it’s not too much trouble.”
