When Master Ohlong said “Go!”, the person on Seyan’s right ran straight at her, while the one on her left grabbed a stick of wood as a club. Seyan spun the staff so fast she made it hum, all the while turning her body quickly around to get a look at all of her foes. The one behind her had chosen a long wooden dowel, two inches thick, to use as a staff. The person in front of her grabbed two fist sized wooden spheres off a crate and then threw them.
Time slowed down for Seyan as she ducked under the attempted tackle of Foe #1, then came up to toss him at club wielding Foe #2. She didn’t even hear them collide as she whipped the end of her staff up, hit the secret button Master Ohlong had showed her and stuck the first wooden sphere on the tip of the seven inch blade that shot out of the end of the staff. Whirling the staff around, she hit the next sphere, sending it straight up in the air.
