The Alphabet: J Is For…Jerkface
Jerkface was a costumed criminal from 1969 to 1981 on Earth 19-S. He was not exceptionally smart, but he was cunning and very good at escaping capture. His gang was very loyal to him. They mostly committed robberies of banks, jewelry stores, and high end businesses.
Jerkface took his name from what he used to call his enemy in high school. He even wore a mask that resembled the poor fellow.
Jerkface, whose real name was Larry Densmort, was finally arrested and sentenced to three consecutive life terms in prison in 1981. He spent 28 years on Alcatraz before dying in a failed escape attempt in 2009.
