Strongholds: The Island Of The Beasts
If you’re going to build a tower stronghold, building it on an island full of large beasts is not a bad idea. That’s what Frundalo the Mystic did, and it has worked out pretty damned well so far.
The Island of Beasts is a 40 mile wide tropical island that is very nearly perfectly round and centered on a 900 foot tall plateau. The Tower is right in the middle of the island and stands 300 feet tall and 75 feet wide. A variety of enchantments keep the various beasts away from it. Nobody will be messing with Frunaldo anytime soon.
