Seven Places Along The Old Valley Road: The Little Forest
The so called “Little” Forest is perhaps the strangest area travelers will pass through. It is also one of the most dangerous.
Despite looking like a light woodland of no more than 5 acres, upon entering the woods, travelers will find themselves in a much older, much denser, and much larger forest. The trees are very tall and light at the forest floor is dim, even at noon on a sunny day. Best estimates have this old forest covering at least 500 acres.
The road twists and turns, crossing at least 3 small streams along the way. There are no humanoids living here, but there are many beasts and monsters. During our trip through it, we saw thrugs, mungars, a very large nightsnake, and two cannibal halflings. The latter were dispatched with extreme prejudice. It took us two hours to get out of the forest.
It is highly advised to just ride around it.
