“Oh, you won’t find Krankar Island on any map, Sir. Government started hiding it back in 1810 because of that thing you’re talking about. Not that the island was ever much beyond a glorified sand bar, so nobody paid it no mind anyway. No, it wasn’t until 1808, when the “Glory of Boston” say that thing crash onto the island, that anybody gave a damn about it. Seems they found some interesting items, which led to the boys in Washington wiping it off the maps. Pretty easy to do when it’s off shipping lanes and in mostly shallow water. Now the big question is, why do you want to go there 85 years after they disappeared it, Sir.”
