On Earth 477-M, 15 year old Peter Parker is bitten by a radioactive spider, which transforms him into a large, hideous, humanoid spider. Driven mad by this and constantly hungry, he goes on a killing spree across the Five Boroughs of New York City. This continues for over a year before he is finally cured by Reed Richards, after which he is confined to a mental institution for the next 26 years.
