General Information: These medium sized birds are common all across the Savaduran continent, being mostly found in lighter forests, farmland, and in city parks and gardens. In color, they are mostly reddish brown with a darker chest and wings. They are primarily insect and fruit eaters, traveling in small flocks of a dozen or so.

Zilmerwings get their name from the fact that their rapid wingbeats produce a sound very much like the the zilmer, a popular type of flute. A flock of Zilmerwings flying by sounds quite musical.
