On Earth 2-G, which is pretty much a matriarchy, this series and the books it was based upon are hugely popular. While there is some genderswapping (Mary Popper, Hermes Grainger, Roni Weestly), the story overall is very similar. The movies are box office gold, although the last two reunion movies “only” brought in 1.3 billion dolars each. A third reunion movie “Mary Popper and the Wizard’s Wand” is scheduled for an October, 2026 release.
