The Alphabet: NPC Edition: Porzon Earthmaster

Wizard of the 8th Circle, 100 year member of the Wizard’s Guild, and successful businessman, Porzon Earthmaster is a creator of clay golems. These golems are highly valued for use in dangerous jobs or situations using workers who eat, sleep, or get easily injured. They aren’t cheap, but they do come with a 50 year guarantee.

Porzon got the idea for a golem business after a group of adventurers he had hired told him about a town in a far off land where a pair of golems had been pressed into service plowing fields when most of the local horses died of a disease. He built his first golem himself and it took three months. For his second one, he hired 2 sculptors and an assistant mage. The golem was done in a month. He now employs 10 sculptors, 8 assistant mages, 12 general laborers, and an accountant. It takes two weeks to create a golem.

Despite his business, Porzon is still a Wizard and often hires adventurers to do anything from locate rare items to just go explore a distant land. He is able to pay very well.

Porzon Earthmaster: 145 year old (looks about 60) human Wizard. 6′ 1” tall, 170 pounds, blue eyes, bald. Fair skinned, dresses in casual robes. Speaks with a Duldarian accent. Deep voice. Has a squirrel familiar named Tutsis. Porzon collects skulls, old potion bottles, and 10th Century erotic art.
