Pirates Of The Circle Sea: The Sea Demon
(Note to roleplayers: These characters have no numbers assigned, but I do use various words to denote abilities, skills, etc )
Descriptively, there isn’t much that can be said for certain about the pirate known as the Sea Demon. He (She? It?) stands nearly 7 feet tall and has a humanoid shape consistent with standard humans. The Sea Demon dresses in blood red from boots to hat. A red leather mask covers his entire head, with slits for eyes, nose and mouth. When he speaks, his voice has a strangely hollow tone to it.
That’s pretty much it. Most of that information was compiled from people who saw the Sea Demon from a good distance through a spyglass, which is why they lived to give a description.
The Sea Demon’s ship has no name, but you know it when you see it. She’s as huge as a Corcoronite fast trader and she carries somewhere between 64 and 76 heavy cannons. Her sails are blood read with the face of a demon on each one. It is said that she can move at a good speed even on a dead calm day. She carries a crew of at least 300 and every one of them dresses in a similar manner to the captain. In combat, they are fast and deadly killers. They take no prisoners and only refrain from burning the captured ship if the captain decides to set it adrift containing some mutilated bodies.
The Sea Demon and his crew are feared throughout the Circle Sea by navies, merchants & pirates alike, for they will rob any ship they choose.
On the off chance that some crew might kill the Sea Demon, all of the Circle Sea governments, all of the great Merchant Houses and of the varied Pirate Brotherhoods offer fat rewards for his head.
