…for the duration
Today, 1/29/2022, Grace and I adopted a terrier mix named Yoyo from the Sacramento SPCA, the same place we got Silky & Luke from.
Yoyo Brian Cross is 2.5 years old and had been living on the street for some time. He is very skinny and not very human oriented, so putting some weight on him and gaining his trust are our most important goals right now. He has eaten a good dinner and has already let us pet him and put a collar on him so he won’t lick his now empty scrotum.
We adopted him 11 days after Sasha died. Not the shortest time for such a thing, that was Daisy Mae 3 days after Lucy died. We knew Sasha wanted us to get another dog ASAP. We think coming to live here will heal both us and Yoyo.
We are sure Sasha would approve of that.
