“Dear Mom,
I hope everything is going well for you and Aunt Sadie down there in Florida. Uncle Moe said he’ll be down there once the sale of the house is finalized. He’s still undecided about whether to drive of fly. My guess is he’ll drive.
Marti and I will come down to visit once the baby is born. Man, will we both be glad when this pregnancy is over! How did you and dad ever manage to have five kids?
At work, things at the observatory have been hopping lately because we’ve sighted a new comet or maybe a new mini planet out in the area beyond Pluto. Not much data on it yet, and what we do have is confused. One report says it’s moving very fast, but slowing down. Another says it might have changed course, probably due to an impact with something else. We’ll know more when the Watcher satellite gets turned in that direction next week.
I saw George the other day and he’s doing well. He’s really cleaned up his act and has been sober for going on two years now. You two ought to try talking again. Maybe I can convince him to come down there for Passover this spring.
Well, I’ve got to go now, Mom. Tell Aunt Sadie I love her and you two try to stay out of trouble. I’ll call in a couple of days.
