She read a few more entries related to the coming of the Star People, most of which were just speculation, although a few were about various leaders saying we should remain calm, but ready to deal with unexpected threats. That last made Seyan chuckle in spite of herself, since she knew that the Ancient Humans had been killed in huge numbers before they even knew for sure there was a threat.
The next several entries were noted as coming from personal diaries and letters, most badly deteriorated, the notation said. Seyan was only a few words into the first one when she realized these would be rough reading. There was so much personal tragedy here, so much overwhelming change witnessed.
