Ala sighed. “Yeah, well, I’m still mulling over options. That whole hitting the Road for adventure thing is still tempting me.” Dree noticed that she looked confused, kind of like how Dad looked when Mom told him to choose between apple or berry pie.
Bevan nodded. “Well, my advice would be to go for adventure. I have never regretted becoming a Roamer, even though there have been as many rough times as good. Travel expands your world and your mind.”
Dree made a decision just then, and spoke up before he lost his nerve.
“If the two of you heard of…you know, a guy…who had found out about something that was kind of great…but he needed to go a long way and maybe wanted some people to travel with him…what would you say to that?”
