Dree knew this was true. He loved hearing stories like “The girl who climbed the mountain” and “The girl that lived with pirates” and…hey, wait a minute…were those stories true? Had she done all that?
“You were a pirate?,“ he asked. “You did all that stuff that the girl Amleh did?”
She nodded. “Spell Amleh backwards, Dree.”
He did, then goggled at her anew.
“Well curse me for a Roadie mule! You really were her!” Dree was not sure if he could take many more revelations.
