Seven Places Along The Old Valley Road: Murg’s Hot Spring
After a long first day of riding or walking, coming upon this restful camping area is a welcome sight. Here you’ll find level ground with soft grass to sleep on, a well maintained firepit, a table and benches, a corral for your horses, and best of all a wonderful hot spring to bathe and relax in.
Murg, the proprietor, is a Shadbog Troll and quite a delightful character. His family lives a couple of miles away, and he will tell you that he comes here to get away from them. He will also tell you a great many stories of travelers and his youthful adventures. He does not drink alcohol, but if you have any sweets to offer, he will gladly accept them.
Rates are a silver per person, and 5 coppers per horse or other animal.
