Small Town Secrets: Helen Sanchez, Housewife
As far as secrets go, Helen’s is pretty tame: Four years ago, she won 2.5 million dollars on a lottery ticket when she and her husband Bill were on vacation in Brazil. They had the money transferred into a secret account they used for “saving for emergencies and such.” Before they got home, they decided that nobody else needed to know about the money, because they have 4 teenage children and some deadbeat relatives.
Their plan is to pay for each kid to go to college, then pay off their mortgage and bills, buy an RV, retire, and travel around. It’s a pretty good plan.
