General Information: In almost all respects, Mist Apes look like small chimpanzees with a much lighter fur and skin color. In behavior, they are much less violent and will do all they can to avoid a fight.
And their biggest ability to avoid fights is the fact that they can turn their bodies to a misty form and just drift away rapidly. While in misty form, they are invulnerable to any non-magical damage. Most predators don’t even bother attacking them.
Mist Apes live in large groups of from 30 to 90 individuals of all ages. They are primarily vegetarians, but will eat insects and bird’s eggs. Their level of intelligence is about that of a 10 year old human.
