The Pranzar System: P5/Artema
Our final planet of the inner Pranzar system is Artema, a Mars sized planet with very little atmosphere. Orbiting 240 million miles from the sun, it is a cold and rough world. The very few microscopic lifeforms native to Artema live in or under the polar icecaps. Artema is also a very smooth world, with few mountains topping 2,000 feet and no great canyons or craters. The planet has no moons
About 4,000 years ago, Artema was the site of many battles between factions of the Clii machine race. These battles were incredibly violent and actually caused the extinction of the Clii. Parts of these enormous warriors still can be found, and are the subject of ongoing study.
Artema is a source of netrini crystals, which are used in both replicators and healing booths. The mining rights are jointly held by the Jofti Institute and Dao Keee Mining. Mine tours are available two days a week.
