Frozen Lizards On A Stick

Another weekend bites the dust. I did some (but not nearly enough) work in the garden. All the veggies are coming along nicely, especially the cucumbers and cantalopes. Plenty of flowers blooming, including my new “Limerock Ruby” Coreopsis and my pink cannas.

We played another session of the Kingdom Sim game today. Things are really humming along and this months turn started with the opening of Treefrogs School of the Magical Arts. This was a pet project of the ruling triumvirate, so they were pleased. They’ve also explored much new land and have a healthy colonization program going.

My niece, Molly, graduated from high school on Friday night. She sang “Star Spangled Banner” at the start of the ceremony and really rocked the house. She is the youngest of my nieces and nephews, so that was the last graduation I have to go to…at least until one of them has kids of their own.

Planning on the 2004 GenCon/North American Tour is perking along. We decided that we’ll add a day to the whole trip by leaving one day earlier. This will give us more time to mosey across the center of the country and do some sightseeing and stuff.
