The Horticultural Whore VS Gamera And Mothra

…and Tokyo once again takes it up the ass

I knocked out a couple of hours in the garden, mostly pruning and transplanting. Now I’m taking a break and catching the Puppy Bowl.

This years teams are heavy on the Hound and Sporting groups, but they do have a little Shiba Inu quarterback and a Poodle who is obviously a tackle. One team got a penalty earlier, but I missed which team it was.

Back to gardening news, I started about 2 dozen seeds yesterday. I use cut up egg cartons that I fill with potting mix and then put in the seed and set into a jar lid full of water. Then I put ’em on the windowsill and wait a week or so for germination. A week or ten days after that, they go into peat pots to grow a bit more before going out into the garden. So far, I’ve got dill, tomatos, basil, peas and chiles going. In a few days, I’ll start more kinds of veggies.

Ooh…time for the Kitty Halftime Show! Gotta go.
