Tiny Folk Of Note: Yano Hacker

.

The New York Stock Exchange is one of the most internet connected places on Earth. That’s why Yano Hacker and his wife, Breema, live there.

For most of their 10,000 year history, the Tiny Folk did not make much use of Big Folk technology. That really started to change in the 1880’s. Now, they use many tech items, and the internet has been the latest. From learning about the world to sending email to actually buying things online, the Tiny Folk are finding out all the things that going online can do for them.

The problem is, computers and the like are too big for them. Luckily, Yano and Breema have rigged up lots of old cell phones to act as terminals that Little Folk can use. True, they have to come to their workshop, but a steady stream of folks do just that every day.

Yano is a master at both scrounging up things he needs and hacking into the NYSE data lines. He is also a wizard at hacking Big Folks assorted accounts, including bank accounts. He doesn’t siphon off much at a time, but a few bucks here and there really adds up.

Yano is 5.75 inches tall, completely bald, has a blonde beard and habitually wears a green jumpsuit.

Tiny Folk Of Note: Kasti Foxrider AKA Cassie Fox

.

Nobody knows that Kasti can send her mind into the body of a Big Person, but that’s exactly what she can do. Twice a week, on Wednesdays & Saturdays, for up to 3 hours, Kasti enters the body of Cassie Fox, a human who lives in Seattle, Washington.

Now, Kasti is not sure exactly when she gained this ability, but it was about a 2 years ago. She vaguely remembers being approached by a dog in a park one day, but after that, she just remembers waking up in a furnished apartment wearing a full sized human body with a note telling her the rules of body swapping. Everything after that was a learning situation for a couple of months.

One of the first things she learned is that there was a steamer trunk full of money in the bedroom and a closet full of clothes. After putting on something comfy, she grabbed some cash and went grocery shopping.

By the time she had a bag of groceries, she had just enough time to drop them off near her village, then haul ass back to her apartment. She got there in time to lay down on the bed, then woke up back at her home in Sea Town village. She told the elders that a nice Big Folk woman had left food for them. They had the food brought into the village and figured the lady must be a Secret Keeper.

Since that day, Kasti/Cassie has helped out her own village and several others. Cassie is a very popular human.

Kasti has figured out that the Cassie body is an android, and she’s okay with that. She still wishes she knew how and why this all happened, but she’s glad it did.
