Three Characters In Search Of An Adventure: Monok

.

Monok is a Vodellian, a species that would look to us like a mammalian spider centaur. He stands about 5 feet tall and is pretty much covered with black and brown fur. His eyes are adapted for living on a low light planet, but he has goggles that let him function in bright light areas.

Monok owns and pilots the “Gorvy Zis”, a medium size Class 2 freighter with a J-3 jump drive. While he is on the up and up the majority of the time, he is not above hauling contraband. Normally, he runs between the Vodell, Ferdes and Yalon systems, but has been known to venture out into the Frontier systems and even into Kahnama Space.

While he is a dedicated bachelor, Monok has many female friends, something that can lead to trouble should jealousy arise. He has had to leave cities and even planets to avoid angry females.

Monok has many friends and acquaintances across several systems, but none are as close to him as his brother…

Three Characters In Search Of An Adventure: Yunar

.

Yunar is Monok’s younger brother and looks very much like him, but with some added white streaks and a bit more height. He is a bit less of a ladies being than his brother, but is a bit more of a risk taker and gambler.

As the Engineer and Co-Pilot of the “Gorvy Zis”, Yunar keeps things running and helps monitor everything that’s going on. He recently installed a few concealed weapons pods, just for those times when things get a bit dicey. It’s good to have a bit of insurance.

Yunar has a habit of collecting strange things, like bird feathers or game components or used pistols. His brother ignors the various boxes of stuff all over the ship, but they really piss off…

Three Characters In Search Of An Adventure: The Seff

.

As a Yalonian, The Seff is a blend of a large female, a much smaller male and a semi-sapient layer of algae. If you saw them, it would looks like a long legged sea turtle with a soft shell and a face like a monkey. Three tentacular arms can come out from the back of the shell. The Seff always smells like freshly mowed grass.

The Seff is both the ship’s doctor and the bio-computer interface. They communicate directly with the ship at all times and are necessary to calculate Jumps.

Despite getting angry with Yunar for his many boxes of junk, The Seff is very loyal to her crew mates. In their spare time, the Seff enjoys creating holographic landscapes.
