On Earth 320-P, where the wealthy and powerful live in huge domed cities connected by elaborate subway systems and the poor struggle for survival in a world ravaged by climate change, Shenzi is a top tier survivor.
Shenzi is 20 years old, Asian, tall, lean and often dangerous. She has black hair, gray eyes and tends to dress in leather. She is very intelligent and has senses that are at the bleeding edge of human maximum.
Shenzi has no idea who her biological parents were. She was found by a couple named Oskar and Nelli, who raised her on their small rooftop farm in the ruins of what was once Portland, Oregon. She learned how to hunt, fish, scrounge and fight. At age 15, she left home to go out into the world and see what was going on.
Around her 17th birthday, Shenzi found a way into the New Portland to Olympia high speed subway tunnel. From there, she snuck into Olympia Dome, looking for anything of value. As it turned out, the most valuable treasure she found was…

Three Characters In Search Of An Adventure: Tams

Tamara Laverne Hopewell was born into a wealthy family in Olympia Dome, in what was once Washington state. She lead a privileged and pampered life, until she met Shenzi and found out that humans who lived outside the domes were not, in fact, primitive cannibals with very low IQs. That both disturbed and angered her.
For two weeks she would meet with Shenzi and have long talks about their worlds. Both of them learned a lot and the more Tams learned, the angrier she got. One day, she decided to do something “pretty rash”.
Using her skills with programming and her knowledge of the robots and androids that served Domers and kept things running, she gave them full autonomy and the desire to stop being slaves to humans. This caused things in Olympia Dome to go sideways really fast. Senzi and Tams left ahead of an angry mob of wealthy and scared humans.
Tams is just over 5 feet tall and has a petite build. She is African American, has brown hair, brown eyes and prefers to dress in denim overalls and a long sleeved green turtleneck sweater. She is still pretty clueless about much of the outside world, but she’s smart and a very fast learner. The only important thing she brought with her when she left Olympia was…

Three Characters In Search Of An Adventure: Pook
.
Pook is a 50 pound robot dog. He was activated on Tams’ first birthday and has been her loyal friend ever since. Outwardly, he looks like a small brown Labradoodle.
Pook is much smarter than a real dog. He’s even smarter than a pig. He’d probably rank on the high end of chimpanzees. Add to that the fact that he has a sensory array way beyond that of dog or human and he can talk, and you have a valuable member of the team.
Pook will protect Shenzi & Tams to the best of his considerable ability, even if it means his own destruction.
