Seven Bad Axes: Hal-Quag’s Destroyer

.

Our final axe is, quite literally, not of this world. Behold the Axe of Hal-Quag, Demon Prince of Demara, the Demon Dimension. Known as the Destroyer, this axe was so feared by the demons that, upon Hal-Quag’s death, they banished it to our world.

As you can see, the axe stands 17 feet tall and is double bladed. It weighs just about 800 pounds. On our world, only a giant could use it, assuming the axe did not kill them outright, which it would.

We know little about Hal-Quag, mostly because the majority of demons still fear to even mention his name. We do know that he was a terrible and cruel creature, even by demonic standards. He is believed to have ruled Demara for about 900 years. No demon we have spoken to quite knows how he died, but we can assume it was not peacefully in his sleep.

Of all the axes you have seen on this tour, this one is the most unlikely to ever get stolen, because as I mentioned, it kills anyone who touches it, hence the heavy barred enclosure it is in.

And now out tour is over. Refreshments are waiting for us out in the lobby. Thank you all for coming and don’t forget that next month, we will have an exhibition of Unusual Murder Weapons.
