Boudreaux’s Chicken Dinner House has been a favorite eating place here in The City since Alvin Boudreaux came north and opened it 40 years ago. So why did somebody steal the 4 foot tall, 300 pound cast iron rooster that has been out front since day one? And why were the shoeprints in the mud so big? Size 14, at least. The cops say it’s probably some stunt by college kids, but they never talked to anybody on campus. This whole thing doesn’t add up, which is why Alvin Boudreaux is offering your agency a cool 300 bucks to find and return his chicken.
