Assorted Rooms…With A Difference: Storeroom At A Bar
When you take a quick glance in this room, it looks like pretty much every other storeroom in every other drinking place in the world. There are cases of booze, kegs of beer, a mop bucket or two with mops, etc.
But if you look a bit closed, you’ll see an old chest just behind some kegs. If you look even closer, you’ll see a trap door nor very well concealed by an old threadbare rug. A bit strange, right?
What might be in the chest depends upon where and when you are. There will certainly be a weapon or two (could be a sword, could be a laser pistol), maybe some armor (chainmail? Kevlar? force field belt?), almost certainly some clothes of the current era, and possibly some other useful stuff.
The trapdoor leads down to a tunnel. Where does the tunnel go? Maybe to a smuggler’s cove a mile away, maybe to a warehouse used by bootleggers, maybe to a superhero’s secret base. Wherever it leads, it will lead to adventure.
