Facts About Potions: Storage
Storage of your potions is less about protecting the contents from degradation, since properly made potions are very stable, but much more about protection from theft.
Potion theft is a very real thing that affects as much as 15% of Guild members. The crime is often done by organized gangs, but there are many individuals who will take advantage of lax security. Even apprentices have been known to make off with large numbers of potions. Security is a must!
The Guild recommends that members use two or more craftsmen for physical security, then at least two League of Wizards members of Third Order or higher for enchantments. This will prevent 95% of thefts. To prevent the other 5%, you may need to enlist the aid of some sort of intelligent or semi-intelligent creatures.
Just remember that although creating a secure storage area may be expensive at the beginning, it will pay for itself over time.
