Assorted Non-Player Characters: Stewpot Sammy
In a major city in a modern fantasy setting, Stewpot Sammy runs a very popular cafe in the low income section of town. As the name implies, he is noted for his delicious stew, which also has the advantage of being inexpensive. A whole lot of people come here to eat.
But food isn’t all that Sammy, a 6 foot tall, 250 pound African American Elf, has to sell. If you need to get somewhere else fast, just slip him a couple of twenties and head for the restroom. Once you get there, just say where you want to go and then step through the full length door sized mirror. Next thing you know, you’re at your destination.
A couple of things to know about Sammy’s service are that he asks no questions and he restricts nobody. If you are on the run, he does not care, and he will not care if the cops come and lay down their $40.00 per person and try to chase you down. Business is business.
Oh, and that 40 bucks per person? Not negotiable, and it has to be in some form of legal tender. Try to pass funny money or your grandma’s wedding ring or only $39.00, and the mirror will transport you into the city sewage tanks.
