Part 3
The Great Forest
The Road is now made of large slabs of stone. This section runs roughly 60 miles and is straight much of the way.
This is your standard sort of mixed forest, pretty dense and filled with plant and animal life. There are monsters here, too. Streams cross the Road in several places, never more than a few inches deep.
There are a couple of deserted villages just off the Road at around the halfway point. They seem to have been abandoned very long ago. There are no signs of violence.
