Land Of The Stumbling Dead

…they died drunk

The Long & Winding Road

Part 4

The Razor Mountains

When the Great Forest portion of the Road starts going uphill with many twists and turns, it signals the ascent into the rough, steep, and rocky Razor mountains. At this point, the Road narrows to about 10 feet wide and becomes a gravel road. At this point, it is running more or less due north.

The forest become less dense and the trees smaller as you climb into the main mountain range. Eventually, there are no trees due to the mountains being almost totally solid rock. And sharp, hard rock at that. There is no snow anywhere, but there are rockslides.

This whole section runs about 68 miles, with the middle 40 miles being the Razors. In some places, tunnels run through the mountains. There are few animals up there, and very few monsters. The Razors themselves are enough of a challenge.
