The Great Ruins
Imagine an area 100 miles from north to south, and 80 miles wide, filled with the ruins of great cities, large towns, and villages of all sizes.
Now, make those ruins three times the size of what the average human would build, and you’ve got the Great Ruins. Were they built by giants? Gods? Some huge humanoids lost to history? Nobody knows, and the ruins themselves give few clues.
The 105 miles of Road here are made of large slabs of sandstone, and it runs very level.
Travelers on this part of the road will get the very distinct feeling they are being watched, although all they will see are small animals and birds.
